Here at Little Deers Nursery we incorporate the GIRFEC principles throughout our practice.

Within GIRFEC there is a set of seven 'Well-being Indicators'. Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible and Included. It is widely recognised that for children to reach their full potential, each of these indicators must be met. To ensure this is the case within our nursery we work together with parents to compile an individual SHANARRI care plan for each and every child.
